Introducing the New VC-OEM!

This is the first standalone voltage converter (VC) power adapter to join LAVA’s product family.

LAVA’s new power adapter is capable of converting power from an external 9 – 36 VDC power supply up to 50ft away from a mobile device, while providing a full 10 Watts (2 Amps at 5 Volts) of power to charge the mobile device.

The VC-OEM is a compact and low-cost alternative to traditional Power-Only, Power over Ethernet (PoE) based solutions. Built with a small form factor and compatible with all mobile devices, the VC-OEM provides an ideal Power-Only solution for tablet kiosks in hospitality, retail, and digital signage applications.

The low DC voltage allows the VC-OEM to operate in permanent and semi-permanent installations while being fully compliant with local electrical codes. This eliminates the expense of hiring an electrician and the requirement of dedicated AC cable routing and installation.
