LAVA serves up a win at SSIS

In December, LAVA attended the Self-Service Innovation Summit (SSIS) in Hollywood, FL., and we made some valuable connections.

The trade show focused on self-service technologies in a variety of industries, such as mobile payment kiosks, ATMs and vending machines.

LAVA was uniquely positioned to cater to these markets as our SimulCharge products offer a more versatile and often less expensive alternative to a turnkey solution. Some attendees we spoke to didn’t realize their kiosk needs could be reached with a tablet and the right adapter. Others were searching for a more flexible (and sometimes portable) setup than an all-in-one solution could provide.

We received great feedback from these attendees and expect to turn some of them into our future customers.

Keep an eye out for us at future trade shows this year, especially as we release new products in the coming months.

CES wraps up

The world’s largest consumer tech trade show just wrapped up this past weekend. The Consumer Electronics Show ran from Jan. 5-8 in Las Vegas and featured major announcements from major players in the mobile industry and other areas of technology. Take a look at what Samsung and Lenovo unveiled at this year’s convention.

NRF kicks off next week

The National Retail Federation is holding its annual trade show from Jan. 15-17 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The expo features more than 950 exhibitors and includes both an innovation lab and a startup zone, featuring new companies and breakthrough technologies. While LAVA does not have a booth at the show, we will be in attendance. Hopefully, we will see you there. Find out more about NRF here.
