nSynC-PE
SimulCharge™, PoE, Ethernet Adapter for USB-C Mobile Devices
$139.99 / Web Price
The nSynC-PE provides compatible USB-C mobile devices* with SimulCharge™, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Ethernet. SimulCharge™ ensures the mobile device can simultaneously access the adapter’s wired network connection and any USB peripherals attached to the adapter while it is charging. The adapter also features Docking Detect technology.
The adapter provides 10.4 watts of charging power and a reliable 10/100-capable network connection through a single CAT5/5e/6 Ethernet cable connected to a PoE-enabled switch or injector.
How the nSynC-PE Works
The nSynC-PE adapter provides compatible USB-C mobile devices with simultaneous charging and access to data (SimulCharge). It features Power over Ethernet, Ethernet and Docking Detect technology.
Power at a Distance with PoE
Leveraging Power over Ethernet (PoE), the adapter does not require a dedicated AC source, as it can be fully powered through its built-in Ethernet port**. Simultaneously, this port can provide 10/100 Ethernet connectivity between the tablet and network, providing a single cable solution for tablet power and data. PoE allows greater options for tablet placement as it can be used in areas with limited electrical outlets. It can be placed up to 328 ft (100 m) from the power source.
Reliable Device Connection
Docking Detect ensures the “greeting” protocols between the SimulCharge adapter and mobile device are executed correctly and consistently every time they are connected. This allows the adapter to be a plug-and-play technology that ensures the mobile device always operates in USB Host mode.
The adapter comes in a black ABS casing that protects the electronics from mild shocks and impacts, allowing it to be used in different implementations.

It does not ship with the USB-C to USB-C cable required to connect the adapter to the mobile device. This cable can be purchased separately from LAVA or a third-party supplier.
*The nSynC-PE is not compatible with all USB-C mobile devices. Please see the list of tested devices.
**The mobile device can also be powered through the adapter’s Micro USB-B port, which is rated for the standard 5 volts at 2 amps. It is recommended to use the charging cable that came with the device. A separate power supply is not included.
