A voltage converter and USB hub for tablets, the nSynC-vc3U leverages our SimulCharge™ technology to provide simultaneous power and data. The VC adapter converts 9-36 volts of DC power to a device-friendly 5 volts, ideal for automotive applications. The low DC power allows the adapter to be installed up to 50ft (15m) away from the power supply and does not require the help of an electrician. This adapter includes three USB-A ports for peripherals and Docking Detect for reliability. Docking Detect ensures that the "greeting" protocols between tablet and adapter are executed consistently and correctly, every time.

- For auxiliary power, a USB charger/power supply with a USB-C connector, such as the power supply provided with the mobile device. Any regulated 5-volt power supply capable of at least 2 amperes can be used.
